Mary Beth began her career at Nordstrom Product Group after receiving her BFA in visual communications from UW. During her career at Nordstrom she designed tween and children’s wear patterns and learned about merchandising and product development. Mary Beth also worked for the esteemed NYC print studio, The Style Council for over eight years before starting Pink Light Studio in 2009. Since 2009, Mary Beth has built Pink Light Studio, with the help of her amazing team and family, from two designers to over 35 designers from around the world! Mary Beth specializes in keeping in tune with emerging market trends and directing her artists on how to translate the trends into commercial designs for all products. Mary Beth feels blessed to have the chance to work with such amazing artists and clients. She loves spending time with her family, drawing and painting, listening to inspiring audiobooks, walking by the water, pilates classes, and traveling to sunshine filled places!

katie yates is an artist and university of texas graduate based in SUNNY Los Angeles. she received her bfa in studio art with a business minor in 2018, and began her career in the art licensing world in 2019. katie is passionate about art, and loves the opportunity to connect with artists worldwide through pink light. Katie loves to explore LA with her Wife and goldendoodle, travel the world, make art in her home studio, and research trends in the marketplace!
